Sales Training Academy Opportunity.
Very occasionally a combined training and employment opportunity presents itself that can genuinely change lives. As recruitment consultants we so often hear candidates bemoaning the fact that they want a role that offers them training as well as a job.
One of the most rewarding roles today, both in financial and job satisfaction terms, is professional inside sales. The opportunity to offer a world class service to organisations who all have a need for it, and be able to convince them that they can trust you and your company to deliver on your promises – without ever meeting them face-to-face. It’s a skill and, when carried out successfully, extremely satisfying and rewarding.
It’s a skill that can be taught and learned provided the student has the right attitude and attributes. The problem to date is that very few companies have been prepared to invest in that training.
Badger Associates is proud to be working with a visionary Norfolk-based company who has decided to develop an Academy to train their own sales people. To take people with little or no previous sales experience, but who have the right attitude and ambition, and pass them through a six month Academy training process. The process can be accelerated for trainees with previous similar experience. The Academy will be using a combination of world-class trainers in their field and in-house mentors who have already proven themselves.
The scheme has the added benefit of incorporating ‘real life’ selling opportunities from an early stage giving the immediate prospect of enhancing an already attractive base salary. At the end of the Academy training graduates will be able to move on to join one of the main sales teams and continue their career development.
Candidates will need to display key attributes prior to being considered for the scheme:A burning desire to create a career
- Articulate, with an excellent command of language
- Ability to think and react quickly
- Above all - drive and committment
Each requirement will be assessed closely before Academy entry is offered. Once accepted, failure is no longer an option.
Assistance with transport may be available during training.
