Samantha Kelsey joins Badger Associates to head up the new Training Division
Here at Badger Associates we have often been asked why we didn't offer training services. After all we covered most other aspects of People Development, so why not training? The answer was quite simple - we didn't have anyone within the organisation who was an outstanding trainer and, frankly, so much of what we saw in the training field was a "bit samey". It all seemed to revolve around the "find a plaster and cut yourself" style. Here is the solution - now show me the problem and I'll make it fit. I'm sure you will have come away from training sessions with similar feelings. Then we discovered Sam Kelsey.....
Sam is a learning specialist with 10 years experience supporting teams and individuals to achieve their goals and deliver great performance. Sam typically focuses on developing self and team awareness using personality profiling and delivering training in interpersonal skills such as influencing and assertiveness. She has personal-skills training, executive coaching, leadership and business experience.
Sam has 10 years experience in management, training and development gained primarily as Management Development Manager for Norwich Union Central Services, part of the Aviva group. She is a creative facilitator of senior leadership teams helping them reduce conflict and raise performance. As a skilled coach and trainer she is unafraid of asking the provocative question or challenging the status quo, in search of better results. In balance with this she has a relaxed style which enables learners to explore in a safe environment.

Sam has worked extensively as an internal training consultant in the Aviva group working with people at all levels of seniority and experience. As such she is experienced working with a variety of disciplines: IT, Facilities and Project Management, Finance, Customer Services, Purchasing, Sales, Production, Marketing, HR and has managed programmes right from training needs analysis and design through to delivery and evaluation. She is dedicated to connecting people with their potential and supporting organisations to achieve their goals. Her particular focus is on encouraging organisations to take time out to learn.
